| Ausonics International Pty Ltd continued the work of its predecessor, Ausonics Pty Ltd, as a manufacturer and developer of medical ultrasound diagnostic imaging equipment. In 1997 its parent company was the Israeli company Elbit Ultrasound Pty Ltd. In 1999 Elron Electronic Industries Ltd, Elbit's parent company concluded the sale of Elbit to the General Electric Medical Systems, based in the USA. The company used the trade names: Impact VFI; Opus Plus; and Synergy. |
