Austek Microsystems Pty. Ltd. was a company founded to commercialize a break-through design technology developed by CSIRO through their VLSI Programme. Developments also included a floating-point arithmetic processor chip for an American computer company, samples of signal processing chips for Japan and the world's first single-chip cache controller operating at 20 Mz and to augment the performance of 80386-based computer systems.

Austek Microsystems Pty Ltd was deregistered from the Australian Securities & Investments Commission on 6 July 1994.
