| MIM Holdings Limited was established in 1970, taking the place of Mount Isa Mines Limited. The company has mines in numerous locations across north-eastern Australia, including Mount Isa, Townsville, Ravenswood and McArthur River, as well as several international locations. From their Website, June 2001: "MIM is an Australian-based mining and mineral processing company producing copper, gold, zinc-lead-silver and coal in Australia, UK, Germany and Argentina. The group has around 8,000 employees worldwide and in 1999/2000 generated sales revenue of almost $3 billion." Acoring to deList, MIM Holdings was taken over by Xstrata Holdings Pty Limited in 2003 and the was delisted from the Australian Stock Exchange on 30/06/2003. |
