Electrolytic Zinc Company of Australasia Ltd (EZ) in a joint venture with Peko-Wallsend Operations Limited (Peko) was the first company to discover uranium ore at Rabger, 250 Kilometres east of Darwin (1969). According to the Australian Securities & Investments Commission Electrolytic Zinc Pty Ltd (EZ) was intitally called Pasminco Australia Limited (1916). It then changed its name to Electrolytic Zinc Company of Australasia Limited and Electrolytic Zinc Company of Australasia Proprietary Limited.
