| Felton Grimwade & Bickfords Pty Ltd came out of the division and sale of Drug Houses of Australia in the mid-1970s. The company can trace its history back to 1867, when Alfred Felton and Frederick Grimwade established Felton Grimwade & Co., Wholesale Druggists, Melbourne. The company is wholly Australian owned and operated. From their Web site, June 2001: "The Company manufactures and markets a range of proprietary products which are distributed through pharmacies and supermarkets throughout Australia and in a growing number of export markets. The range of products includes O.T.C. pharmaceuticals, herbal & nutritional supplements, medical devices, personal care and household products. The Company is one of the two largest producers of eucalyptus oil in Australia. The Company incorporates its eucalyptus oil into its own products as well as selling in bulk to other manufacturers in Australia and overseas. The Company is an independent private Company wholly Australian owned and operated." |
