Hunter District Water Supply and Sewerage Board (1892 - 1938)

The Hunter District Water Supply and Sewerage Board was constituted in July 1892. The Board administered the Walka Water Supply Scheme on the Hunter River and took control of the water supply. Sewerage infrastructure was developed during the Board's lifetime. The Board was succeeded by the Hunter District Water Board in December 1938.
