Kenworth Australia (1962 - )

Kenworth first opened in Australia in 1962 as an assembler of imported product. Over the next seven years it developed into a manufacturer of trucks specifically designed for the Australian marketplace. The first of its fully Australian manufactured trucks was produced in March 1971 at its Bayswater plant.
