Queensland Meat Industry Board (c. 1931 - )

The Queensland Meat Industry Board regulated the meat industry in the state. During the 1930s the Board worked with CSIR/CSIRO to help establish the chilled beef export trade. The research was carreid out at the newly state-owned Cannon Hill meatworks.
