Australian and New Zealand Society for Mass Spectrometry Incorporated (ANZSMS) (1970 - )

The Australian and New Zealand Society for Mass Spectrometry was formed in 1970 and held its first formal meeting at Macquarie University, Sydney in August 1971. In 1977 the Society approved a set of rules and was incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Ordinance 1953-1962 of the Australian Capital Territory with the object of the advancement of the science of mass spectrometry within the general region of Australia and New Zealand.
