The Centre for Advanced Technology in Telecommunications, part of RMIT University's Faculty of Engineering, was originally established in 1987. At the beginning of 2002 there are approximately 28 post-graduate students and 12 academic staff associated with the centre.

It appears that the centre does not exist and is now part of the Advanced Engineering Centre for Manufacturing.
