The Federal Paper Mills Co was established in Randwick in 1902. In 1920 the company merged with the Sydney Paper Mills Co Ltd to form the Australasian Paper & Pulp Co Ltd. Throughout the next eight decades, the company underwent a series of takeovers and finally in 1984 became part of Amcor Ltd.
