| Deakin University's Institute of Disability Studies, part of the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences, was established in the late 1970s. The Institute undertakes work with an aim to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and their families. It would appear that the Institute was closed down in 2003 during the School of Health Sciences 's restructure into the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences and the School of Health and Social Development. |
