| The Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Sustainable Cotton Production was formed in July 1993. Research areas covered by the CRC included clay soil structure and fertility, management of insect pests, weeds and diseases, crop breeding and genetic engineering. In 1999 the CRC was replaced by the Australian Cotton CRC. |
