The Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Value Added Wheat replaced the CRC for Quality Wheat Products and Processes in July 2001. Amongst the CRCs areas of research expertise are wheat geonomics and proteomics, antibody diagnostics, cereal processing and cereal chemistry. It has funding until 2008.
