| The Gould League of Bird Lovers of New South Wales was established in 1910. The League's initial purpose was to encourage an interest in native birds. In 1967 an amalgamation took place between the Gould League of Bird Lovers of New South Wales and the Junior Tree Wardens' League, forming the Gould League of New South Wales. |
