Natural Resources Conservation League of Victoria (1951 - )

The Natural Resources Conservation League of Victoria was established in 1951. It evolved out of the Save the Forests Campaign of 1944. The League is a 'not for profit organization' which operates four nurseries in Victoria and produces over 1,500,000 plants each year, predominantly native species.

From their Web site, January 2003: "The Natural Resources Conservation League of Victoria will promote the conservation, improvement and sustainability of our Nation's natural resources through the production and supply of quality plants, qualified advisory services and education programs."
