| Austin Health is the corporate entity which includes the Austin Hospital, the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre. It is a leading teaching hospital and medical research facility. The University of Melbourne’s Departments of Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry, Psychology and Physiotherapy have a base at Austin Health as do other prestigious research bodies. Also, all of Austin Health’s medical and surgical departments are actively involved in research, making it one of the strongest medical research precincts in Australia. |
