The Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Forestry was formed in 2005 to continue the work of two former CRCs: CRC for Temperate Hardwood Forestry (1991-1997) and the CRC for Sustainable Production Forestry (1997-2005). The CRC for Forestry's research is focused upon supporting environmentally sustainable, cost competitive, eucalypt plantation forestry.
