| The Royal Australian Chemical Institute Division of Medicinal and Agricultural Chemistry was renamed the Biomolecular Chemistry Division in 2000. This was done to better reflect the goals and vision of the Division, which included the promotion of scientific interactions with other relevant scientific bodies. This was achieved in 200 when the Biomolecular Chemistry Division forged links with the Asian Federation for Medicinal Chemistry, the Federation of Asian Chemical Societies and the Australian Society for Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Toxicology. |
