The Royal Australian Chemical Institute's Organic Chemistry Division was formed by the merger of the Heterocyclic Chemistry Division and the Aliphatic & Carbocylic Chemistry Division. It promotes organic chemistry through regular meetings and national conferences, and awards to recognise outstanding contributions to the discipline of organic chemistry.
