Contact Details

The Monash Institute of Reproduction and Development is one of Australia's premier research centres. Internationally unique, the Institute is at the forefront of research into assisted reproductive technologies, infertility, prostate disease, functional genomics, fetal development, neonatal medicine, sudden infantile death syndrome, women's cancers, reproductive angiogenesis, and maternal-fetal medicine.

The Institute of brings together approximately 150 skilled scientists from a wide range of fields, whose daily work encompasses laboratory research, patient care, and the education of the next generation of doctors and scientists. This diversity of expertise has enabled major breakthroughs in the understanding of physiology and the genetic basis of disease.

The Monash Institute of Reproduction and Development's knowledge and expertise in functions of the highly complex human body will form the basis for future medical practice that will focus more on prevention rather than cure.
