The Personnel department of Pigment Manufacturers of Australia Limited was headed by a Personnel Superintendent, known from c.1988 as the Personnel Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager of the company.
Under the Personnel Superintendent was a Safety/Training Officer, involved in staff training and health and occupational safety within the plant. A new position of Safety and Training Assistant (which appears to have replaced Safety/Training Officer) appears on an organisational chart from February 1986. By 1988 the comparable position was Safety Officer.
Other positions reporting to the Personnel Superintendent were, at various times, a laundryman, a staff member with general duties such as cleaning and gardening, and a personal assistant.
