Details

The factory floor of the Pigments Plant at Laverton, headed in the late 1960s by three Superintendents - an Azo Superintendent, a Paste Plant Superintendent, and a Phthalo Superintendent (see organisational chart in PMA0924). Staff in these roles included D. K. Grant (later General Manager of Pigment Manufacturers of Australia Limited) and Simon Balfour-Browne (later Operations Manager for PMA Ltd).

Beneath the Superintendents were supervisors, shift foremen, and shift workers. For a photograph of Laverton foremen in 1968, see "ICI Pigments Plant - Laverton Foreman 1968" (PMA0864) in Series 3.
