These notebooks were compiled by Rupp during the 1890s and were given to J.H. Willis as a 'Keepsake' from Rupp's library by K. Mair, October 1956. They were used and consulted for the Biographical Index of Australian Botanists compiled by J.H. Willis, Daphne Pearson and Mervyn Davis.
