Optometrist

Barry Leighton Cole was appointed the Chairman of the Department and Reader in Charge of Optometry at the University of Melbourne on July 1972. Cole was Professor of Optometry 1978 - 1999, and within that time he was also Head of Department & Director of the Victorian College of Optometry 1996 - 1998.
