Bower, John Crawford (1911 - 1957)

Physicist

Born: 3 October 1911 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Died: 12 August 1957.

Bower was educated Universities of Melbourne (BSc 1933, MSc 1934) and Cambridge (PhD 1939). He was an 1851 Exhibition Scholar from 1935-1935. Bower was part of an RAF operational research group from 1939-1945, the last two years as Officer-in-charge. From 1947-1957 Bower was a senior lecturer in physics at the University of Melbourne.
