Alexander, Jean Logan (1892 - 1977)

Chemist

Born: 1892. Died: 27 April 1977.

Educated at the University of Melbourne during the 1910s, Jean Alexander was a demonstrator, senior demonstrator and lecturer in the Chemistry School, University of Melbourne from 1921 to 1963. She was Lecturer in Chemistry, Mildura Branch University of Melbourne. Amongst her other achievements, Alexander was Dean of Women for 18 months.
