Description

This series contains lantern slides of animals at the Melbourne Zoo including emus, kangaroos, birds, lions, pelicans, swans; as well as scenic images of Australian bushland and Africa; and frogs, turtles, butterflies and caterpillars (circa 1910-1920).

1 box of Kodak lantern plates, 8 black and white glass slides of Toronga Zoo and Moore Park, including trees and koala, 8cm x 8cm, 1913;
1 box of Kodak lantern plates, 4 black and white glass slides of a gorilla, chimpanzee and gorillas' palms, 8cm x 8cm, undated;
1 box of Kodak lantern plates, 6 black and white glass slides of butterflies and caterpillars, 8cm x 8cm, undated;
