They contain personal correspondence to both Mary and JC from family member and close friends, in addition to other correspondents from a wide range of differing organisations and work associates. Le Souëf including those from Lancelot Le Souëf, Phillip Lynch (Parliament of Australia, House of Representatives), R.W. Lindsay MP (Federal Member for Flinders) and many letters from Mary and J.C. Le Souëf to each other. Other correspondence involving W.S. Lilford Stock and Station, State Law Office, State Library of Victoria, Lansdowne Press .

The file also includes J.C. Le Souëf and Mary's Driver's Licence, Shooter's Licence, Licence of Right for Commercial Goods Vehicle, Broadcast Listener's Licence, Combined Receiving Licence and Television Viewer's Licence.
