This series contains a variety of documents from a number of sources.

It includes copies of correspondence provided to Dr Jan Sapp by Deakin University under the Freedom of Information Act, for his research into the Briggs Affair. These include copies of curricula vitae of both Dr M.H. Briggs and his wife, Dr Maxine Briggs; copy of Dr Briggs' letter of appointment to Deakin University; copies of the various letters of complaint about Professor Briggs; copies of correspondence between Professor Jevons and Professor Briggs, and other associated correspondence.

"Ia" - Copy of letter marked "Confidential to the Vice Chancellor and Members of the Preliminary Committee" from Dr E.J.R. Rossiter dated 18 April 1984 written in his capacity as Chairman of the Deakin University Ethics Committee - letter of complaint (3 pages);
