Administrative Information

19/045 was originally vol. 44, #7-12. On 13 May 2003 it was put with 19/44 (and now all years are together as one item, and the volume numbers equate to the series number). As a consequence, item id A0655 was reused with further processing in series 19. Files were physically renumbered according to the new sequence during re-boxing.

Problems discovered in the database during reboxing 12-16 May 2003 stem back to 1997 when ASAP archivist Christopher Jack and Lisa Cianci failed to manage versions of the database; Christopher Jack was not working on the current version of the RACI data and reprocessed a number of records, in particular the Victorian branch minutes and some card indexes, into new series. As a consequence a number of duplicates have been removed from the Inventory database. A number of erroneous decisions were made in assigning items to series, and these have been corrected.
