Lady Masson Memorial Lectureship (1946 - )

Presented to the University of Melbourne in 1946 to endow a Lecture in memory of Lady Masson, wife of Sir David Orme Masson. The income of the Fund is devoted to the provision in alternate years of a lecture on some important aspect or application of Chemistry, with the lecturer appointed by the Council after consultation with the Professor of Chemistry. In the case where there is no suitable candidate found, the income shall be devoted to the provision of a lecture in social development, to be delivered by a lecturer appointed in consultation with the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and the Chairman of the Board of Social Studies.
