Details The Australian Society for Immunology Secretariat was initiated at the Victorian Medical Postgraduate Foundation Incorporated, Toorak, Victoria, in 1984, with R. R. Briggs as Executive Officer, a position he held until 1987. In 1991, the Secretariat moved to Parkville, Victoria. The Secretariat was created by the Society to perform administrative and secretarial functions, including dealing with the day to day interactions of the Society, general correspondence and accounts; collecting and collating information for Membership Directories and other lists; and administrative duties surrounding the organising of conferences and travel. |
