Kaye Merlin Brutton of Mount Martha, Victoria, made a bequest to The University of Melbourne in 1984, which enables research in the Faculty of Science. Awarded to support research into cancer, diseases of the liver, ophthalmic diseases (and in particular the neurological aspects of vision) and angina pectoris. Grant applications are awarded on the recommendation of a Committee formed by the Faculty of Science.
