Department of Mathematics (1966 - 1995)

From the 1860s and well into the twentieth century, Mathematics at the University of Melbourne was taught within the Arts (Natural Philosophy). It moved to the Faculty of Science in 1966 due to the efforts of the then Professor of Mathematics.
