Established in the early 1990s, the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is part of the Faculty of Engineering. The School originally consisted of the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The Department of Computer Science has since been renamed the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, and continues to be part of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
