Sweet, Georgina (1875 - 1946)

Zoologist
Born: 22 January 1875  Brunswick, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 1 January 1946.

Sweet was Associate Professor of Zoology, University of Melbourne 1920-24, member of the Council of the University and sometime Lecturer and Acting Professor of Zoology. Her research included the zoology of Australian native animals and the parasites infesting Australian stock and native fauna. Sweet actively contributed to the University of Melbourne's Women's College.
